Brethren and Friends,
Effective immediately, all in-person DeMolay activities in the State of Iowa are hereby suspended until April 20th, 2020.
This includes all Chapter events, Legion of Honor Observances and Iowa DeMolay's Centennial Celebration.
This will come to no surprise to any of you, but with Governor Reynolds recommendations that schools close for 4 weeks in the State of Iowa, and with the CDC recommending that events with 50 or more people be canceled for the next 8 weeks, it was the only call I felt we could make.
Fortunately, in this era of technology our Chapters can still find ways to stay connected. Sites like zoom.us & meet.google.com and many others, can allow us to be creative and function the best we can while we going through these events.
My intention is to still observe Iowa DeMolay's 100th Anniversary in 2020, it's just difficult to say when at this point in time.
